Megan Marie Gates
(they/them) is a queer, non-binary sound practitioner, movement guide and performing artist based on Lekwungen Territory (Victoria, BC). Their offerings are invitations for space-making, deep listening, and re-enchantment through sound meditation, storytelling, and supportive movement. Alongside teaching yoga for the last 10 years, Megan Marie has offered sound experiences, retreats, and immersive sound trainings for the last 8 years both in Canada and Internationally. They are a slinger of lullabies and believe that sound is a potent, powerful meditation form that can help with the process of regeneration and nourish our imaginations.
